About IMCX
The Influencer Marketing Conference & Expo (IMCX) is the deal-making conference for the creator economy. Held October 13–15, 2026 in Los Angeles (venue announcement coming soon), IMCX brings senior brand marketers, creator-economy founders, platform leaders, agency principals, and investors into the same room for three days of structured deal-making, agenda-driven content, and curated introductions.
IMCX 2026 is presented by SafeBets, the world's first risk-free financial prediction platform.
Unlike traditional influencer marketing conferences that center on panels and education, IMCX is structured around outcomes. Attendees come to close brand-creator partnerships, evaluate platforms, source investment opportunities, and announce deals on stage. Sessions are designed to drive transactions, not just transfer information. Brands meet creators. Platforms meet customers. Deals get done.
What makes IMCX different
Most influencer marketing events optimize for attendance numbers. IMCX optimizes for deal flow. The agenda is built around the moments where brand–creator transactions actually happen: brand deal economics, creator monetization models, platform competitive dynamics, FTC compliance and endorsement guidelines, AI's impact on creator workflows, NIL and creator-led commerce, and the evolving infrastructure powering influencer marketing at scale. Every session is anchored to a deal-making frame — how brands evaluate, how platforms compete, how creators negotiate, and how investors deploy.
The exhibitor floor is structured as a working marketplace, not a swag-bag tradeshow. Booths are deal tables. Curated 1:1 sessions are scheduled in advance through the IMCX matchmaking system. The IMCX team personally introduces attending CMOs to platform leads, creator founders to brand teams, and operators to capital. Three days, dozens of warm handoffs, all anchored to what each attendee actually needs.
A returning event with a track record
IMCX is not a first-time event. The previous in-person edition was held in Los Angeles and drew over 500 attendees across three days. The expo floor featured roughly 40 exhibitors, including T-Mall (Alibaba Group) and influencer marketing agencies such as Open Influence, alongside platforms, tooling vendors, and creator-economy startups. The speaker roster included regional directors from the U.S. Federal Trade Commission, who walked the audience through current advertising laws and FTC endorsement guidelines as they apply to creators, brands, and influencer marketing partnerships. The 2026 edition builds on that foundation, returning to Los Angeles with an expanded deal-making framework, an updated agenda, and a structurally different attendee experience.
Who attends IMCX 2026
The IMCX 2026 audience is intentionally senior. Attendees include:
- Senior brand marketers responsible for influencer and creator marketing budgets — VP, Director, and CMO-level decision makers at consumer brands deploying meaningful spend
- Creator-economy founders building platforms, agencies, and creator-led businesses
- Platform leaders and business development teams from creator-economy SaaS, social platforms, and tooling vendors
- Full-time creators with established audiences evaluating platform partnerships and brand deals
- Agency principals managing large-scale influencer marketing campaigns
- Venture capital and growth investors active in the creator economy
This deliberate attendee mix is what powers the deal-making model. Brands meet the creators they want to partner with. Platforms meet the customers they want to acquire. Investors meet the founders they want to back. Creators meet the brands and capital they need to scale.
Powered by TheCreatorEconomy.com
IMCX is the annual conference of TheCreatorEconomy.com, the editorial publication covering creator monetization, platforms, brand-deal economics, and the broader creator economy industry. The publication-conference combination creates a year-round ecosystem: TheCreatorEconomy.com publishes the analysis decision-makers read every week; IMCX is the room where they meet, evaluate partners, and close deals once a year. Editorial coverage of industry news, funding rounds, M&A activity, platform shifts, FTC regulation, and creator-led commerce flows directly into the IMCX agenda — the conference reflects the conversations the publication is having in real time.
Why Los Angeles
Los Angeles is the natural host city for the creator economy's deal-making event. As the global hub for entertainment, digital media, talent representation, and creator culture, LA concentrates the agencies, platforms, brand headquarters, and creator infrastructure that make IMCX's deal-making model work. Attendees can extend their visit into productive meetings with the broader Los Angeles creator-economy ecosystem — talent agencies, platform offices, brand marketing teams, and investment firms. Hosting a creator economy conference in Los Angeles is not incidental; it is structural.
